6th Anniversary of TC Mariel start of operations

That morning of January 27th, 2014 was foretelling the future: Mariel Containers Terminal, S.A. was emerging as the first user of Mariel Special Development Zone. Six years after the start of operations, its 527 workers remembered key moments in the performance of a port enclave of paramount relevance for the country economic development.

We ratify once again the commitment with our company, the desire to be better every day and to devote our maximum effort to that end. For sure there will be many challenges to meet and dreams to fulfill, but we will not fail in the firm aim to make every goal a reality, difficult as they may seem, affirmed Milagros Navas Torres, specialist in Human Resources Management, on behalf of 49 outstanding workers acknowledged for their performance last year.

José Leonardo Sosa Barrios, Deputy Director of  TC Mariel, assured that  fulfilling the plans, achieving efficient results and guaranteeing our contribution to the national economy will always be among the top priorities, with emphasis also in the attention to workers. The learnt good practices, the discipline and solidarity of this team, the desire to learn and our vision of the future will continue guiding us to safe port.

The event provided the opportunity to  pay homage to our National Hero, José Martí on the 167th anniversary  of his birth and was attended by representatives of enterprises linked to the daily activities of the port terminal.
