First Cuban-Russian Joint Venture approved in ZED Mariel

TecComp Caribe, S.A., a Joint Venture between Cuba and Russia, was approved as a user of ZED Mariel for the production and sale of polymers reinforced with glass fiber and resins.

Made up by Russian United Composite Technologies and Cuban Simen Aut, S.A., TecComp Caribe, S.A. will use modern technologies for the production bars, mesh and profiles, as a complement for the traditional use of iron bars for the construction in the country.

TecComp Caribe production plant will use modern technologies for the production of the polymer, which effectiveness has already been tested in Cuba. Among its advantages outstand durability, resistance, light weight and anti-corrosive properties.

The enterprise will also provide technical advisory and training for the use of these products and of the specialized software used in the design process.
