After completing the investment process for its plant, the Spanish capital company Profood Service, S.A. It started operations this February, for the production and commercialization of food products, beverages and dispensing machines, destined for the hotel sector and the national network of stores.

In addition, dispensing machines for some of these products are assembled at the plant, and the company provides equipment maintenance, repair and replacement services.

Located in the agri-food processing area of ​​Sector A of ZED Mariel, the 2,000-square-meter factory has modern technologies and highly trained workers. It is expected that at the maximum of its productive capacity it will have a catalog of more than 300 products and will be able to produce some 26 million units per year.

The production processes of Profood Service, S.A. They include linking with local companies to obtain raw materials that meet international quality standards. Products such as sugar, fruit pulp, cane alcohol, flour, and starches are purchased on the domestic market.
