Cuban company Industrial Biotecnológico CIGB-Mariel S.A. became the first in the Biotechnology sector to establish a complex in Mariel Special Development Zone, with an investment of over 500 million.

The approval of this important project, first high technology company to be approved in the Zone, will enable the continuity of the growing development of biotechnology industry in the country.
