Mariel Solar S.A. from France has been approved as the first renewable energy project in Mariel Special Development Zone.

Mariel Solar S.A., is a totally foreign capital company, made up of French EREN and British Hive Energy, that will operate three solar parks with a total generation output of 50 MWh.
