First user of ViMariel Industrial Park incorporated

The Portuguese capital enterprise ECOPLAST, S.A. was incorporated today as user number 49 of ZED Mariel for the production of plastic articles and moulds, in the Industrial Park being developed by concessionaire ViMariel, S.A.
Close to beginning the construction of its plant and authorized to operate in Cuba for a period of 25 years, ECOPLAST, S.A. will use materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC for the production of various plastic articles, all of them in high demand in the country.
The productions from this enterprise will include medicine jars, packing for hygiene articles, drums, cups, plates and other containers for food.
