Chinese Communist Party delegation visits ZED Mariel

Special envoy of Chinese Communist Party General Secretary, Song Tao, today visited Mariel Special Development Zone with the party delegation on an official visit to Cuba.

The visitors held a meeting with directors of ZED Mariel on the progress made since its creation and the development programs for this visionary Cuban project. They viewed the fiscal incentives, the development of infrastructures and the establishment of investors as positive aspects and emphasized the interest in future investments of Chinese companies.

They also appreciated the introduction of the knowledge acquired by directors and specialists of ZED Mariel as a result of the mutual exchanges and courses on Economic Development Zones.
