CONSTITUTED VIMARIEL S.A. AS THE FIRST CONCESSIONAIRE OF THE MARIEL SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT ZONE

This morning, the act of constitution of the subsidiary of a totally foreign capital company ViMariel S.A. took place. which allows to formalize its establishment as the first concessionaire of the Mariel Special Development Zone.

ViMariel S.A. is a subsidiary of the Vietnamese trading company Corporación Viglacera S.A., a company that has extensive experience in the development and operation of industrial parks in Vietnam.

Through Decree No. 340 of February 28, 2018, the constitution of the company ViMariel S.A. was authorized. and it was granted an administrative concession for a term of 50 years to project, invest, build, manage and exploit the infrastructure and an Industrial Park in an area of ​​156.247217 hectares located in Sector A of the ZED Mariel.

Through this authorization ViMariel S.A. will undertake an investment program that will allow multiplying the development of the ZED Mariel infrastructure and attracting direct foreign investment in correspondence with the Pillar Industries of the ZED Mariel.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Cuba, Mrs. Ana Teresa Igarza Martínez, General Director of the Mariel Special Development Zone, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Viglacera SA Corporation and directors of the ZED Mariel office and the Corporación Viglacera S.A.
